How to change your watch strap/band

  1. With your spring bar tool, insert the fork tip in-between the case lug and the watch band.
  2. Using the spring bar tool, compress the spring bar away from the case lug and in to the band.
  3. Now you can insert the new band. Remember to remove this spring bars to use with the new strap.
  4. Make sure to attach the strap to the proper side of the watch.
  5. The shorter strap side should meet with a 12 o’clock position of the watch.
  6. Insert one end of the spring bar into the lug pinhole.
  7. Use the fork end of the spring bar tool to compress the spring bar to get the end of the spring bar into the lug hole.The spring bar will then snap into place.

How to adjust a Mesh/Milanese watch band/strap

  1. PLEASE NOTE- Clasps on new watch bands may be difficult to adjust. This will ease after a short time of wearing the watch.
  2. Insert the strap tool into the clasp gap and gently push down to release the clasp movement.
  3. Adjust the clasp movement to the correct fitting for your wrist, using the markers on the back of the strap.
  4. Using the strap tool or your finger replace the clasp once in a comfortable position.

How to change a watch strap/band to a NATO strap

  1. With your spring bar tool, insert the fork tip in-between the case lug and the watch band.
  2. Using the spring bar tool, compress the spring bar away from the case lug and in to the band.
  3. Reattach the spring bars to the case lugs.
  4. Remove the long section of the NATO strap from its floating keeper.
  5. Insert the long section of the strap between the spring bar and the top of the watch case (above the 12 o’clock mark) and pull through.
  6. Now also pull the long section of the strap between the lower spring bar and the bottom of the watch case.
  7. Finally, pull the long section of the strap through the floating keeper and adjust the watch in to place.
